About Helena Rose

Helena Rose is a bespoke designer based in the Redlands, QLD, specialising in minimal waste floral design, handcrafted headwear, and creative workshops. Every creation reflects her deep respect for sustainability, individuality, and inclusive creativity.

“As a minimal waste designer, I’m always seeking new ways to repurpose materials and give them new life transforming what might have been discarded into something beautiful and meaningful.”

With an ever-evolving collection of biodegradable confetti, fresh and dried floral arrangements, and one-of-a-kind headwear, each piece is designed with purpose and crafted slowly, thoughtfully and with minimal waste in mind.

Helena also brings her artistry to others through her mobile workshops, where she travels to homes, workplaces, and schools to share her creative process. Every session is disability-inclusive, inspired by her older sister Rose, after whom the brand is lovingly named. In honour of Rose, Helena ensures her workshops are welcoming, accessible, and empowering for all participants.

Crafted with Care, Inspired by Experience

With a background in Fashion Design and a love for refined form, Helena fuses classic elegance with modern femininity and a touch of nostalgic whimsy. Her work is recognised for its bold colour palettes, unexpected details, and high-quality, sustainably sourced materials.

Helena’s creative journey has spanned over twenty countries, working as a stylist and featuring in international fashion journals such as Jute Magazine and Dreamingless Magazine. She has studied millinery under French Milliner Estelle Ramousee and apprenticed with Couture Milliner Maor Zabar in Israel, shaping her signature approach to craftsmanship.

After graduating in Applied Fashion Design in 2010, Helena relocated from Sydney to Brisbane to pursue her passion for bespoke minimal waste floral design. From 2021 to 2025, she operated several retail studios before evolving her practice into a by-commission studio, dedicated to creating custom pieces and inclusive mobile workshops that celebrate creativity, connection, and conscious design.
